Q:If I want to solar charge LiFePO4/Lithium Ion battery, which already has PCB, would a normal controller work fine?
A: For LiFePO4 / Lithium Ion battery, we always recommend to use LiFePO4/Lithium Ion solar controller. Especially if you are using the battery as UPS (back up power supply). The Lead Acid solar controller will constantly provide pulse current to the battery, in the long run, it might damage the PCB. So the PCB won’t be able to protect the battery when it should be..
Q:I am a distributor. Can I cooperate with battery warehouse for a long time?
A:Yes, Individual pricing for large scale projects and wholesale demands is available.
Q: What is the life expectancy of a Lithium battery?
A: Typical estimated lifetimes for LiFePO4 batteries are 5-15 years or 4000 to 8000 charge cycles. A charge cycle is a cycle of use from full charge to full discharge to full charge.
Q: What should l do when l receive cells?
A: After receiving the battery, please immediately check whether the insulating layer of the battery (usually a blue film) is damaged and whether the QR code is scratched. Also use a multimeter to check the voltage/internal resistance/capacity. Be sure to charge the battery to full voltage before using it for the first time.
Q: How are LiFePo4 batteries stored?
A:The most important thing is the temperature. LiFePO4 batteries are well stored at room temperature (15°C~25°C), but too low temperature may damage the battery. In an icy environment, you need to pay attention to the insulation of the battery. Alternatively, the battery can be stored in a dry and ventilated room at 50% SOC.
