Under EU consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.

This withdrawal form is provided in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and EU Directive 2023/2673. Submitting this form constitutes your formal notice of withdrawal. You will receive an email confirmation at the address provided above.

Return Shipping Costs

The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs in the following circumstances:

  • The customer no longer wants the product;
  • The customer ordered the wrong product;
  • The customer placed the order by mistake;
  • The customer changed their mind after receiving the order;
  • The product has no quality defects.

For returns arising from personal reasons or reasons unrelated to product quality, the customer shall bear all return shipping costs in full.

Deductions from Refund

In addition, BetterESS reserves the right to deduct the following reasonable fees from the refund amount:

  • 20% of the order value as a service fee, handling fee, inspection fee, packaging fee, labour cost, and related processing charges;
  • 5% of the order value as payment platform transaction fees, including but not limited to PayPal, credit card, Shop Pay, and other payment processing fees.

The total deduction shall not exceed 25% of the order value.

The remaining amount will be refunded after the returned goods have been received and inspected.

Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase.

Once an order has entered any of the following stages, cancellation may no longer be possible:

  • Order processing;
  • Packaging;
  • Production scheduling;
  • Shipment preparation.

If an order has already been dispatched, the customer shall be responsible for all costs arising from the cancellation, including but not limited to:

  • Logistics interception fees;
  • Return shipping costs;
  • Carrier handling fees;
  • Warehousing fees;
  • Other logistics service charges.

In such cases, BetterESS reserves the right to deduct:

  • 20% of the order value as a service fee, handling fee, warehouse processing fee, labour cost, and related operational expenses;
  • 5% of the order value as payment platform transaction fees.

The total deduction shall not exceed 25% of the order value.

Additional costs arising from the following may also be deducted from the refund:

  • Logistics interception;
  • Refusal of delivery;
  • Return freight;
  • Customs clearance;
  • Warehousing;
  • Other logistics-related charges.

As lithium batteries, battery cells, battery packs, and energy storage products are classified as special transport goods, the following actual costs incurred after dispatch may also be deducted from the refund:

  • Actual freight costs;
  • Dangerous goods transport surcharges;
  • Warehousing fees;
  • Handling and processing fees.
